In late December of 2009 I purchased this in attempt to bring my 78 year old body back from pain enforce lack of activity. It doesn't look like much but it works. I exercise with it an hour a day and can feel the difference, and usually work up a sweat. Also it doesn't bore me as previous exercise did as one stops to change the many possible setups. It's simple to increase the energy needed by simply moving away from the hookup point. It is also very portable and can easily be carried on trips as all one needs is one of the bands with grips and a door to which to attack the band, which is simple. And the price is right.
